Registration with the Mutual Infomation Algorithm
Automatic registration of CoreFusion is based on Mutual Information
algorithm, and it is
well suited for vast range of clinical modalities such as CT,
MR, and PET. As CoreFusion utilizes the virtual center of mass
information with the algorithm, user does not need to interrupt
and manually adjust the automatic fusion process. Also combination
of automatic
and manual registration provides maximum flexibility for a range
of clinical situations.
