Fast and Reliable Calculation
 
 
CorePLAN provides accurate dose calculations based on the collapsed cone convolution method, which is proven by the KFDA.  Additionally, CorePLAN supports Equivalent TAR algorithm and Hogstrom Pencil Beam algorithm to quickly estimate general picture of planning for both photon and electron therapy. The accuracy of these algorithms was confirmed through numerous clinical tests and achievement of treating over 700 patients. 
CorePLAN demonstrates excellent accuracy, and its high-speed calculation is as fast as that of 2D algorithms. User Friendly Interface
 
 


CorePLAN runs on the MS Windows platform and has easy-to-use interfaces, so that
even if the user is using this program for the first time, he or she will be able to start the program, use it like any other windows program, and exit from it with ease. All actions
are workable with a single click and there are no difficulties in learning how to use CorePLAN. As a result, this allows you to only concentrate on planning which leads
you to a high quality outcome.

     
Multi-plan Supported
 
 
For more convenient and accurate planning, CorePLAN provides various multi-plan
functions. Numerous plans can be established for a study without loading it again,
and the plans can be compared and evaluated with a click of a button. In the multiple
view modes, you can examine and compare overall plan configurations, such as beam orientations and brief dose distributions, by looking at axial, sagittal, and coronal views
of each plan under comparison. Not only are there comparisons of multiple views, but
also the comparisons of DVH graphs are available, providing you a more powerful and
integrated analysis tool. Moreover, you can examine the differences between the dose
distributions of two plans with the standard deviation value. Addition and subtraction of
the dose distributions of the plans is also supported.
   
Multi-modality Supported
 
 
For more accurate positioning of tumor volume, CorePLAN fully implements multi-modality
function. All major medical modalities, such as MR, PET, and secondary CT images, are available for secondary images. Fused images that can be used in multi-modality mode
are prepared by CoreFusion, an optional part of CorePLAN RTP System that provides quick and strong image registration facilities. CoreFusion fully supports automatic registration algorithm via mutual information algorithm. This function eliminates tremendous efforts for preparing fusion images, as well as providing marker-based registration and manual registration at users' choice. Once secondary images are registered with primary images by CoreFusion, they can be fused into the planning process, providing more detailed information of tissues. Display method of fusion view of primary and secondary images can be controlled easily at user’s preference.

CorePLAN has various special Intelligence functions that simplify the plan procedures by offering automotive tools for repetitive operations.

While planning, the process of contouring the target and other critical structures must be included. CorePLAN automatically detects and contours the body, and by using powerful tools, the user can contour desired regions easily with a single click. Moreover, by contouring only parts of the VOI and using this information as a basis, the whole VOI can
be intelligently detected, and Block/MLC parameters can be automatically set to fit any VOI.
     
Superior BEV
 
 
CorePLAN provides the most advanced and sophisticated BEV (Beam’s Eye View)
among available RTPs with integrated beam shape adjustment tools. High quality DRR (Digital Reconstruction Radiograph) images, simulator image overlapping, graphical VOI projection, direct MLC controlling, and many more powerful features are provided to meet users' need. CorePLAN DRR Image Engine can properly handle and simulate the lower energy characteristics of treatment simulators and produces elaborately simulated DRR images in a few seconds. The simulator image overlapping function provides a convenient means of comparing an image taken from the actual simulator room with the CorePLAN's DRR image by overlapping the two together. Clinicians also can identify the projected shapes of the actual VOIs through the BEV, and can directly configure the MLC, blocks, and field sizes accordingly by few simple mouse controls.
   
Powerful Evaluation Tools
 
 
DVH (Dose Volume Histogram), NTCP (Normal Tissue Complication Probability) and
Multi-Plan function allows you to evaluate and modify your Plan more accurately. You
can seethe dose distribution of all VOIs visually through DVH graphs, and check the complication probability using NTCP statistics. And Multi-Plan function is available if
you want to compare plans of the same study.
